I am a DONA certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and have completed my training through Mount Royal University in Calgary. My experiences include a range of settings and circumstances from natural childbirth, inductions, epidurals, home births, birth centre births, and hospital births as well as breastfeeding support, and working with multiples (twins and triplets). 
 

As a doula who has supported women in all four hospitals in Calgary, I can help navigate the medical environment and jargon so that you can stay calm and focused. I have worked with numerous Midwives, Doctors and Nurses in Calgary and find it easy to work alongside these professionals to round out your birthing team.

In addition to my doula training, I hold a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta and was a consultant for young children and their families for over 15 years.

During my free time I love to spend time with my 3 grown children and their partners. I had the privilege of being a part of my youngest daughter's home birth and welcomed my first grandson into this world.

It has been a great joy watching him grow over this past year!
