The time immediately after giving birth is a precious time for both mother and baby, and, in fact, the

entire family. You need time to bond, learn about each other, and rest.
 

During your pregnancy, we will arrange a visit to discuss your thoughts on the type of support you envision needing once baby has arrived. This meeting will give us a chance to get to know each other better, and provide me the opportunity to find out how I can best support you after the birth of your baby.

Support can start in the hours immediately after birth, the day you arrive home from the hospital, or at any other time of your choice. Postpartum services will be customized to your unique family and situation. As I come along side you, I will support you with breastfeeding, infant care, and your postpartum care. You will receive assistance with household organization and chores and companionship as you enter this new phase of life. I will lend a hand with and demonstrate newborn care and soothing techniques. During this time you will be gently cared for and given time to rest.
 

As a Postpartum Doula I will gently coach and encourage you as you care for your baby and your family. My goal is to ensure that you feel cared for in a way that allows you to feel confident as

you welcome this child into your life.
